Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Reconciliation
Baptism Baptisms are celebrated in English and Spanish after the weekend Masses. Parents and Godparents should attend the preparation class in anticipation of the celebration. Godparents should be churchgoing Catholics (having received Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation) and if married should be married according to the Catholic Church.
The Baptismal Preparation Class is held in English on the second Saturday of the odd numbered months (January, March, May, July, September and November) at 9:00 A.M. in the Family Center Meeting Room.
Confirmation Students in the 11th Grade prepare for the Sacrament throughout the faith formation year by attending classes, performing service hours, and through their prayer experiences and retreat. Adults who are baptized Catholic yet having not completed their initiation with this sacrament, are invited to attend R.C.I.A. sessions as preparation to receive the sacrament at the Easter Vigil.
Anointing of the Sick Those Catholics who are ill, or are preparing for medical procedures should call the rectory and arrange to received this healing sacrament.
Marriage Couples planning to celebrate this sacrament of loving union should contact the rectory at least six months in advance.
Holy Orders Any young man who feels the call to discern a priestly vocation should contact Fr. Matthew. We must all share in the responsibility of recruitment of vocations to service in our Church. |
